Microbursts could bring unpredictable bad faith claims

A weather event called microbursts may result in insurance claims and additional denials to homeowners by insurance companies. These types of weather events are extremely violent and can result in significant damage to property. While hurricane season might seem like a big threat, microbursts can occur throughout the summer as ocean winds collide, pushing air violently outward, posing a very large threat themselves.

If property is damaged from microbursts or other weather events, homeowners might file claims with their insurance company. Insurers often will come out to a home to assess damage and tell a homeowner how much money they will receive to make repairs. In order to reduce the number of claims and money that is paid out, insurers sometimes deny claims.

When someone is denied an insurance claim in bad faith, they might be wise to speak with an experienced bad faith insurance attorney. An attorney can help a homeowner evaluate their policy and ensure that they receive the compensation that they deserve.

If a person is denied an insurance claim, it not only affects the value of their property, but it can seriously impact a families wellbeing. They might be forced to live displaced, and unable to live near their work and schools.

The ability for a family to return quickly back to their normal routine is very important. An attorney can help a family seek compensation that they should receive under their policy. It is important for people to understand their rights and work to protect them from companies that put profits before the needs of their customers.
